Keiji’s luck has finally run out. Imperial Regent Hideyoshi has caught wind of his exploits in Kyoto and summons him to an audience with a not-so-veiled threat: fail to appear, and the House of Maeda pays the price. Having brought the nation to heel, the ruthless warlord now seeks to bend the famously freewheeling kabukimono to his will—something Keiji’s samurai pride will never allow.
